The wins are stacking, one after another.
The building is filling, jam-packed and rowdy.
And yeah, if you were wondering, Keno Davis is having a great time.

Well I hope you enjoyed that under-the-radar stuff, Coach Davis.
Because those days are now gone for good, the result of a 13-game winning streak that has Drake -- that's right, Drake! -- tied with Illinois State atop the Missouri Valley Conference standings while the usual suspects (Southern Illinois, Wichita State and Bradley) hover near the bottom of this league turned upside down.
The Bulldogs -- the freaking Drake Bulldogs! -- are 14-1 overall and 5-0 in the MVC with wins at Iowa (where Michigan State lost) and Wichita State (where LSU and UAB lost), and their only loss is a 72-66 defeat at Saint Mary's (where Oregon and Seton Hall each lost by double-digits).
Now is that the best résumé in the country?
Of course not.
"We don't have any signature wins, and I understand that," Davis said, and it was nice to hear a man offer a reasonable opinion of his own team's body of work. But to appreciate what is happening at Drake you have to place things into context and understand the history of this program: Only twice in the past 21 years have the Bulldogs won at least 17 games and they haven't made the NCAA Tournament since 1971.
Did you get that?
1971!
That's the year Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory was released.
