SAN ANTONIO -- Marquette assistant Buzz Williams has reached an agreement in principle to be the next head coach of the Golden Eagles, a source close to Williams told CBSSports.com on Monday night.
The source said a news conference is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
Williams would take over after one season on Tom Crean's bench. Before that he was head coach at New Orleans.
