Confident Warren already famous before suiting up for Sooners
NORMAN, Okla. -- He just wanted to get his money's worth.
That's the explanation behind Willie Warren's internet-sensation dunk.

And the rest, as they say, is YouTube history.
After two dribbles Warren lifted himself high into the air. And then higher. And then higher. And before he knew it he was well above Xavier Henry, throwing down a dunk on Henry, straddling Henry and riding him all the way to the ground and straight onto the great big ol' World Wide Web.
"I knew I got him pretty good," Warren said. "But I didn't know it was that good until I saw it on the internet."
The dunk happened May 28, 2007 at the Nike Memorial Day Classic. By the time Warren returned to his room after the game and logged onto a computer, it was already on YouTube. It has been viewed more than 380,000 times and received nearly 600 comments to date, meaning Warren has a memorable moment to his credit ... and he hasn't even suited up for Oklahoma yet.
"Willie has been here since June and he's been great," Oklahoma coach Jeff Capel said. "The older guys, especially Tony Crocker, have taken him under their wings and showed him how to work and things like that. And I think these guys are excited to have him. They want to be really good and I think they recognize Willie is a really talented guy who can help make them really good."
This freshman class, on a national scale, isn't as gifted as the last two freshman classes. There is no Greg Oden or Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose or Michael Beasley. But that doesn't mean there won't be plenty of first-year guys making huge impacts, and one of them is Warren, who just might have the best combination of physical and verbal tools in the country.
With the ball, he's ferocious.
Watch that dunk from two summers ago and see for yourself.
With his mouth, he's fearless.
Give Kobe Bryant a call and he'll tell you himself.
