Moore, No. 11 Boilermakers start out with easy exhibition win

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- E'Twaun Moore's 14 points led five Boilermakers scoring in double figures as No. 11 Purdue beat Florida Southern 94-62 in an exhibition game Friday night.

Robbie Hummel and Ryne Smith added 13 points each for Purdue and JaJuan johnson and Keaton Grant had 12 points each. Moore had a team-high eight rebounds.

Rob Eldridge led Florida Southern with 18 points and Rion Rayfield added 16. Preston Fredrick had nine rebounds.

Purdue, which led 43-25 at halftime, had 16 steals and forced a total of 27 turnovers in the game while holding Southern to just 29 percent field goal shooting for the game (18-of-63).
