Notre Dame wing Scott Martin tore his ACL in a workout on Thursday and will miss all of this season, Irish coach Mike Brey told CBSSports.com on Friday.
"It was [on a] jumpstop," Brey texted, "No one around him and he goes down."
Martin transferred from Purdue after one season in which he averaged 8.5 points and 3.8 rebounds.
He sat out last season because of NCAA transfer rules and was expected to be a starter at Notre Dame.
