Michigan signs NBA All-Star T. Hardaway's son

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan's men's basketball coach John Beilein says the son of five-time NBA All-Star Tim Hardaway has signed a letter of intent to play for the Wolverines.

Tim Hardaway Jr. is a 6-5 forward from Palmetto High School in Miami.

He averaged 23.4 points, 11.0 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.8 steals last season.

Yes! This is huge for our program. I'm hoping he has the same skills his father had. He'll be a great fit for the program.

Hopefully he doesn't say anything as stupid as Tim Sr. did not too long ago.
