Camara, Binghamton upend Stony Brook, 57-50

VESTAL, N.Y. (AP) - Binghamton forward Moussa Camara scored a career-high 28 points and was the only Bearcat to reach double figures in a 57-50 victory over Stony Brook on Monday night in front of 2,297 fans.

Marcus Rouse led the Seawolves (6-9, 1-2 America East) with 14 points in Stony Brook's third consecutive loss.

Camara, who went 9-of-10 from the free throw line, came into the game averaging just 7.6 points for the Bearcats (5-10, 2-0), who have now won consecutive games since ending a four-game losing streak.

Binghamton played without leading scorer Greer Wright, who is nursing an ankle injury. Enter Camara, who hit five 3-pointers.

"I just got into the rhythm and they kept falling," Camara said. "I had no idea where I was when I was shooting. I just took open shots. We were ready to play."
