Conference awards: Handing out kudos, with some help
The regular season is over.
The Big East tournament starts Tuesday.
So now's the perfect time to unveil the annual CBSSports.com college basketball awards because this is the calm after the storm and before the next wave of storms. Or something like that. In the past, I've handled all this myself. But staff additions have enhanced our site, and it would be silly for me to not take advantage. If not silly, then at least selfish. So I asked CBSSports.com college basketball bloggers Eric Angevine, Jeff Borzello, Matt Jones and Matt Norlander to submit ballots late Sunday after every regular season game was completed. They did. Then I combined their ballots with my ballot, and the results determined these CBSSports.com conference awards.
(Note: The CBSSports.com national awards and All-America teams will be announced Tuesday.)
