Two George Mason sophomores suspended three games

FAIRFAX, Va. -- George Mason has suspended sophomore players Erik Copes and Vaughn Gray for the first three regular-season games because of "student-athlete conduct violations."

The players will miss George Mason's games against visiting Virginia on Nov. 9, at Bucknell on Nov. 13, and against Mercer at the Paradise Jam tournament in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, on Nov. 16.

Copes and Gray will be allowed to practice during their suspensions.
