Top seven hold steady in AP poll

The top seven teams in the AP men's college basketball poll, announced Monday, remained the same after the opening weekend of the season.

No. 1 Indiana (1-0) received 46 of 65 first-place votes. No. 2 Louisville (1-0) got 18 votes. No. 3 Kentucky (1-0) received the remaining first-place vote.

The rest of the top seven is Ohio State, Michigan, North Carolina State and Kansas.

Syracuse and Duke changed places in the No. 8 and 9 spots and Florida remained at No. 10.

Connecticut (1-0) climbed into the poll at No. 23 after beating then-No. 14 Michigan State (0-1) in Germany.

Florida State (0-1) dropped out of the top 25 after losing to South Alabama.
