We've got a new face in the No. 2 overall spot -- and another player who has cracked the top four for the first time. Plenty of changes in the latest National Player of the Year Race.

National Player of the Year Race
Week 12
1. Trey Burke--Prev. 1
G | 6-0 | SOPH | Michigan

Burke averaged 23.5 points and 4.5 assists in a pair of games -- a lopsided loss at Michigan State and a win over Penn State in Ann Arbor. He's averaging 18.6 points, 6.9 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game while shooting 39 percent from long distance this season.

2. Victor Oladipo--Prev. 4
G | 6-5 | JR | Indiana

The athletic wing logged just 14 minutes and had just three points and five boards in the win over Purdue due to a sprained ankle. Oladipo also had 13 points and eight rebounds in a win at home against Nebraska and is averaging 13.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 52 percent from beyond the arc.

3. Mason Plumlee--Prev. 2
PF | 6-10 | SR | Duke

Plumlee struggled in the first half against North Carolina, but rebounded to have a strong second second half and wound up with another double-double (18 points, 11 rebounds). However, he was a non-factor in the loss at Maryland with just four points and three boards. Plumlee is averaging 17.6 points and 10.4 rebounds.

4. Otto Porter--Prev. 7
F | 6-8 | SOPH | Georgetown

We're not sure there's been a better player in the country over the last month or so. Porter led the Hoyas to a couple more wins and averaged 18.5 points and seven boards in the victories. His season numbers: 15.3 points and 7.9 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field and 44 percent from 3-point range. .

5. Doug McDermott--Prev. 3.
F | 6-8 | JR | Creighton

The Bluejays split a pair, losing at Northern Iowa and winning on the road against Evansville. McDermott averaged 18 points and 11 boards in the two games and is putting up 22.9 points and 7.8 rebounds this year while shooting 55 percent from the field, 48 percent from beyond the arc and 86 percent from the line.

6. Jeff Withey--Prev. 5
C | 7-0 | SR | Kansas

Withey continues to be steady as he had 15 points, 11 rebounds and a pair of blocks in a win against Texas. He's averaging 13.2 points, 8.4 boards and four blocks per contest this season.

7. Cody Zeller--Prev. 8
C | 7-0 | SOPH | Indiana

He's starting to pick it up, averaging 17.5 points and seven boards in a pair of wins this past week against Purdue and Nebraska. Zeller is averaging 16.6 points and 8.2 rebounds for the year.

8. Marcus Smart--Prev. NA
G | 6-4 | FR | Oklahoma State

He doesn't shoot it well, but you can't just look at the numbers when discussing his importance -- especially to the Cowboys. Smart had 28 points, seven boards and four assists in the overtime win against rival Oklahoma and is averaging 15 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.9 steals per game this season.

9. Kelly Olynyk--Prev. 10
F | 7-0 | JR | Gonzaga

The big Canadian continues to produce -- and his team continues to win games. Olynyk had 26 points and nine boards on the road against San Francisco and went for 17 points and seven rebounds in a rout at St. Mary's. He's averaging 18 points and 6.9 rebounds while shooting 65 percent from the field.

10. DeShaun Thomas--Prev. 6
F | 6-7 | JR | Ohio State

Thomas averaged 20 points and 6.5 boards in a pair of games -- a bad loss at Wisconsin and a home victory over Northwestern. The Buckeyes scoring machine is putting up 20.1 points and also grabbing 6.2 rebounds per game while shooting 39 percent from deep.
