AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) - Michigan State guard Keith Appling has left the Spartans' NCAA tournament game against Memphis with an injured right shoulder.

Appling left the court with 7:14 left in Saturday's game, shortly after hurting himself while trying to guard Geron Johnson. He was back on the bench with 4:24 to play.

Appling was knocked out of a February game against Minnesota when his right shoulder popped in and out.
