HANOVER, N.H. -- Dave Faucher resigned as Dartmouth's basketball coach Monday, effective at the end of the season.
With six games remaining, Dartmouth is 3-19 and injuries have left only a half-dozen players available for practice.
Faucher has 136 career victories, third in school history behind Doggie Julian (183) and Ozzie Cowles (144), and led the Big Green to two second-place finishes in the Ivy League.
"Dave's passion for the game, his dedication and loyalty to Dartmouth, and the sensitive and caring way he deals with his players will be missed. Dave has made many contributions to Dartmouth College," athletic director Josie Harper said.
