« Back · 1 · 2 · 3 · 4

Ranked too low if: Nik Caner-Medley plays like he did in November and December, and Travis Garrison is more capable than we realized.

No. 22 Michigan

Ranked too high if: Daniel Horton gets stricken by the overconfidence that took him down last season.

Ranked too low if: Center Courtney Sims is the breakout beast Michigan insiders are predicting.

No. 23 Duke

Ranked too high if: Sean Dockery really is the best point guard on the roster, and freshman shooting guard DeMarcus Nelson really will have to play some at power forward.

Ranked too low if: Shelden Williams and Shavlik Randolph can stay out of foul trouble long enough to combine for 30 points and 20 rebounds per game.

No. 24 Charlotte

Ranked too high if: Point guard is as big a problem as we think it might be.

Ranked too low if: Sophomore center Martin Iti doubles his freshman production of six points and four rebounds per game.

No. 25 UCLA

Ranked too high if: Freshman guards Jordan Farmar and Arron Aflalo are a year away from college greatness, and Stanford's a lot better this season than we think.

Ranked too low if: Not sure that's possible.
