CONWAY, S.C. (AP) T.J. Carter dunked to score with nine seconds left to give North Carolina-Wilmington a 64-61 win over Coastal Carolina on Saturday night.
Carter, who scored 15 points, dunked after Clint Nagel's three-point play to bring the Seahawks (5-3) to within one, at 62-61, with 14 seconds left.
Alvin Green missed a 3-pointer for the Chanticleers (2-7) to end the game. He had ten points and six rebounds, while Jack Leasure and Colin Stevens each scored 13 points for Coastal Carolina.
N.C.-Wilmington led by double-digits throughout most of the second half, but the Chanticleers got to within one with 2:28 to go.
John Goldsberry scored 15 points for the Seahawks, and Taylor Lay added 14 points.
