Notes, quotes · Getting inside · Strategy and personnel

-- The win over No. 6 Washington State represented the highest-ranked team the Wildcats had beaten since knocking off Oklahoma State in the 2005 NCAA Tournament. UA was only 5-18 against top 25 teams since then.

-- Arizona shot 55 percent from the field against a WSU team that was allowing opponents to convert only 39 percent.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"I think we can beat anyone in the country right now." -- Arizona sophomore Chase Budinger after the Wildcats' win over Washington State.
