THIS WEEK'S GAMES:
--vs. North Dakota State, Feb. 3
North Dakota State ended January with back-to-back wins against Southern Utah and UMKC to snap out of a four-game funk and gain a two-game lead in the standings over Southern Utah, which entered in the "bump spot" in the Summit League standings -- eighth, in a conference where just the top eight teams make the Summit tournament. The Bison beat Centenary by a 76-60 margin on Jan. 8.
--vs. South Dakota State, Feb. 5
The Jackrabbits entered February as one of six Summit League members with a plus-.500 record in conference play. South Dakota State split a homestand with UMKC and Southern Utah and ended January embroiled with Missouri-Kansas City and Oral Roberts in a three-way tie for fourth place with identical 6-5 marks. Sophomore G Nate Wolters was averaging 20.7 ppg in conference games, tops in the league.
--Junior F Maxx Nakwaasah finished a rebound shy of his third double-double of the season in Centenary's Jan. 27 loss at IPFW, totaling 18 points and nine boards.
--Freshman post Andrew Rebol went for 10 points against IPFW on Jan. 27 and again in the Jan. 29 loss at Oakland, his first collegiate games in double digits.
--Freshman G Andrew Harwell entered February still leading the Summit League in steals, making 43 larcenies in 22 games played for an average of 2.0 per game.
