I know many of you don't believe the Terps can challenge for the National Title, or ACC crown. I firmly believe that Vasquez overall is much improved. I got a feeling Hayes/Milbourne are due for break out seasons this year. The Terps are going to be tough to beat. It will be hard for teams to apply a press on them and not pay for it. It will be hard for teams to defen

I have seen most of two practices and two scrimmages and there are a few things that stand out.
First of all there are some Dino Gregory haters out there that are going to have to eat their words, and enjoy it I hope. He started to come alive at the end of last year, but he has put in the work and is bigger, fastr and stronger than he was last year and most importantly aggressive. H

After watching UNC tonight, they look like some serious bums that will be lucky enough to finish 5th in the conference. They lack a PG and their front court is weak. Maryland should have no problem sweeping them under the rug this year. Good bye UNC you will be luck to make the dance this year.

I glanced at the Preseason AP Poll and cross referenced it to the Terps schedule.
I saw December 6th against #5 Villanova!
I saw 4 ranked ACC opponents. Once against #4 UNC Twice against #9 Duke once against #22 GT and twice against #24 Clemson.
Seven games against ranked teams, one out of conference ranked opponent, plus the ACC Tour

The Terps just missed the Top 25 AP Poll, as they got ranked #26. The Terps got 100 votes though. I think this shows the Terps a lot of respect and lets keep this respect by winning!
GO TERPS!

I have been looking around on the web for any articles that high-light the Terps as being a team that can contend and see nothing. All I see is how they think Vasquez and the Terps are not consistent. They won 21 games last year with a team that was probably one of their worse in a while. As we all know with the addition of a few big men the Terps appear to be in good shape to ch

So far the team has held up that Dino violated team rules, but that is very vague. I know Greivis did a few things illegally and they let it slide. Gregory is nowhere to be found. So either he pissed off the wrong people or there is something more serious. The rumors aren't making anything better either.

Who, besides Vasquez, are you excited to watch play this year? Who is going to be that player that takes over and helps them win this year? I personally think Hayes is going to be a good surprise this year. Either starting or coming off the bench he is the spark that got us back into some games last year. Also cools us down when Vasquez goes on his crazy spell, which we all know happens sooner or

according to terp time, scheduled visit November 13-15 which is good timing b/c that is the VA Tech football game. I would imagine he'd go to that so Terp fans needs to show their love with some chants in his direction.
Also, I heard his brother went to MD and still lives in the area. Not saying we get him but I don't think we are 7th out of 7 on his list.

The Terps are on the rise and with Mr. V returning I think we have an outstanding chance of winning the ACC crown easier than most experts think.
The reason/key is Landon, I think he is due for a break out year and his return to his natural position will make the Terps hard to defend on the wings.
You got to like what Hayes was doing at the end of last year.

I use to work in a bar in Timonium Maryland Gary Williams use to have a radio show there. Where I got to meet in person, he was rude and just very superficial. Putting my own personal feelings aside I believe he is one hell of a coach. People criticize his recruiting strategy but truly Gary Williams doesn’t need the highest recruits in the country, to have a great squad with good defensiv

How on earth can NC be in the top 10, how on earth can Duke be in the top 10. I understand these early rankings don't mean anything but I have an issue with the entire process. Teams that are rank in the top 10 especially a team like Duke when they lose don't drop that much in the standings. They keep a team like Duke close to getting a number 1 seed every year and it needs
