Well that was a big win we got lastnight and now we have to go on to play #3 Nova. Nova is an overall great team and the Terps are going to have a tough time with them. Well the Terps got their national ranking and proved that they didn't deserve it. Atleast not yet. We played two very good basketball teams and we got beat by both of them. Free throws were a main concern in both of those games and are something that the Terps are really going to need to work on. We had a good game lastnight, but it was a rough first half. Chaminade has a good team and that small point guard they had was really good. But the Terps took control in the second half and now we play the Bearcats. Cincinnati upset a very good Vanderbilt team yesterday, so this is going to be a tough game. Good Necessary win at Indiana, but....Indiana didn't have a good game. It was much like we didn't have good games in Maui. I think we (terps fans) can agree that we could have beaten either Cincy or the Badgers on another given day. I just hope we don't give ourselves a false confidence. The Cincinnati/Wisconsin games have got to be the worst free throw, 3-point, and rebounding performances I have ever seen from the Terps.
Everything went wrong in the Cincinnati game, Mosley missed about 14 points in lay-ups, Milbourne was on the bench in foul trouble, and GV, oh boy!! I would rather GV avg. 4 points a game and win like the first four games, rather than shoot the ball 19 t

Okay, I was wrong about the Terps beating up on Cincy. As mention nothing is won in Nov, let us see if Cincy will be that good this year. I don't think so. The Terps will have a better season. I'll be the 1st to admit that I don't know to much about the Wisconsin Badgers. They suffered their 1st loss last night to Gonzaga, and meet the Terps in the 3rd place game.
Looking at the Badger's team page, they seem to only have 2 legitimate scoring threats: Jon Leuer and Trevon Hughes. In fact, only six players scored in their loss to the Zags.

Maui Invitational time!!! The Terps have played this tournament many times and I think this is the year they actually win it. We start off with Chaminade and if we beat them, we play the winner of Vanderbilt/Cincinnati. I really hope we play Cincinnati because I want to go against Lance Stephenson. Is anyone else a little bothered by Grievis' complete inability to score? Is this just him not putting in the effort against the cupcakes on the schedule or is he not the same player? I'm sure when it comes time to go he'll show up, but what if he can't find his rhythm when the Terps aren't favored by 20+ points?

Welcome back Eric Hayes!!! He played a great game against Fairfield and it is nice to see him back in the scoring bracket. He also had some very nice passes. Sean Mosley played an outstanding game too and he is definately looking like a breakout star. Jordan Williams had a great game and had an monster block but was called for a b.s. foul. Next up Scottie Pippen, or sorry Scottie Reynolds and the fur-balls. The Terps will be fired up against a ranked opponent and you know how Gary gets his team ready to play top 5 opponents, should be fun. Terps are going to spit out the fur-balls in the end.
