Renardo Sidney has had quite the up-and-down season both on and off the court. He's got the talent to play in the NBA, but does he have the focus? It'll be interesting to see if he decides to return to Starkville next year. Top recruit Rodney Hood, a forward from nearby Meridian, has the locals excited even if Sidney doesn't. Same for guard Dee Bost, who will be a senior if he chooses to return.

PLAYER NOTES

--G/F Ravern Johnson, was 12-for-22 from the 3-point line in two wins last season.

--K Kodi Augustus has had nine double-doubles this season.

--G Jalen Steele suffered a knee injury against LSU and is out for the season. That meant he missed out on a trip back to his hometown of Knoxville for the Bulldogs' game at Tennessee on Feb. 26.
