Friars report: Notes, quotes
--Providence buckled down on defense against the struggling Scarlet Knights. The Friars had 10 steals and forced 16 Scarlet Knight turnovers, turning them into 19 points.
--The Friars also did a nice job shutting down the 3-point line. Rutgers went 4-for-18 from beyond the arc in the game, and 0-for-9 in the first half.
