Cavaliers report: Notes, quotes
--Miami rallied from a 10-point deficit with just 38.9 seconds left in regulation, and never trailed in overtime, to stun Virginia in the first round of the ACC tournament by a final score of 69-62. Mustapha Farrakhan was the leading scorer for the Cavaliers, adding 14 points and leading Virginia on a 20-2 run to give them a 50-39 lead with 2:12 left.
--Virginia's collapse was the worst in ACC postseason play -- 10 points in 38.9 seconds -- since the league began keeping play-by-play statistics in the 1980s. It is the biggest lead blown by the Cavaliers with under a minute left in the 110-year history of the team, and the team's fourth straight loss in overtime games.
--Senior G Mustapha Farrakhan's 14 points helped set his career-long consecutive double-digit scoring game streak, with seven. It's the 24th time he has scored over 10 points on the season, and the 38th time in his career.
