Quick Take
BIGE Da'Sean Butler's second game-winner in three days gave West Virginia its first Big East tournament championship. The senior guard, who banked in a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give West Virginia a quarterfinal win, scored in the lane with 4.2 seconds left as the Mountaineers topped Georgetown in the Big East title game.

So how many teams will the Big East put in the NCAA tournament this year?

Aside from West Virginia, which gets the automatic bid, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Villanova, Marquette, Georgetown and Louisville are all considered safe bets for at-large invites by most accounts. With some stellar late season play -- without star forward Luke Harangody for most of the stretch -- Notre Dame appears as if it has played its way into the Dance as well. Seton Hall and South Florida have an outside chance at being selected.

Have the teams in the Big East done enough to warrant half the conference going to the 'Big Dance'?  I'll lean toward yes.

(POLL) Its time for the Big East conference tournament and with every big conference, some teams are fighting for seeding and momentum going into the Big Dance and other are fighting to get themselves off the bubble into the Dance with a good showing or out ...(more)
