Leach comments on Tech hiring Kingsbury
On Thursday, about 24 hours after Texas Tech hired former Red Raider great Kliff Kingsbury as the school's new head coach, I asked his old coach at Tech Mike Leach about the hire:
“I'm really happy for Kliff," Leach said of the 33-year-old coach. "And, I am extremely proud of him.
"Kliff was instrumental in creating some of the legacy I got to be a part of at Tech. I couldn't be happier for the Tech players and for the fans of West Texas.”
