Texas prep QB commits to Buckeyes

Four-star QB J.T. Barrett (6-2, 205), ranked No. 86 among Tom Lemming's 2013 prospects for MaxPreps.com, has given the Buckeyes their 10th commitment for next year, Rivals.com and Scout.com reported Wednesday. Barrett, of Wichita Falls, Texas, is ranked the No. 1 dual-threat QB in the nation by 247 Sports. He reportedly was being heavily pursued by LSU, Baylor, Nebraska and other major programs.
