Clemson prize 'committed but undecided': DE Robert Nkemdiche (6-5, 230) of Grayson, Ga., the top recruit in the country, continues to show signs that his commitment to Clemson is wavering. His family is split on where he should play, with a strong push toward Ole Miss, where his brother Denzel plays, coming from his mother. Rumors broke on Wednesday night that Nkemdiche decommitted from Clemson, but he later released a statement saying he was still committed “but undecided.”

RB Collins parts ways with Canes: Four-star RB Alex Collins (5-11, 204) of Fort Lauderdale informed Miami that he was no longer committed to the Hurricanes, according to a report on 247sports.com. Collins committed to the Hurricanes six months ago, but he visited Florida State last month. His decision led to speculation that he would join the Seminoles' recruiting class, which currently has just one running back.

Maryland loses Veii: Jacquille Veii (5-10, 174) of Gaithersburg, Md., announced via Facebook status that he was decommitting from Maryland. Veii originally committed in July and appeared to be headed for the Terrapins as recently as two weeks ago. Veii could be used at RB, WR or CB. He originally chose the Terps over Boston College, among others.

ACC makes up two-thirds of Blanding's list: Virginia Beach CB Quin Blanding (6-2, 196), who is one of the top safety prospects in the class of 2014, has narrowed his list of schools to a top 10, with the ACC heavily represented. Florida State, Virginia, North Carolina, Miami, Clemson, NC State, and future ACC member Notre Dame are all on Blanding's short list of 10.

Curtis visits Wake: Orlando offensive tackle Shawn Curtis (6-5, 270) visited Wake Forest last weekend, the last of five schools he's visited, including the University of Virginia. Iowa State and Wake appear to be the leaders, but they're also the last two schools he saw.

Wake lands lineman: The Demon Deacons got a commitment from Richmond offensive lineman Eric Tetlow (6-6, 294) last weekend. He's the fifth lineman to join Wake's incoming freshman class.
