WR/KR Stefon Diggs has been ruled out for Maryland's game Saturday against Clemson. Diggs was in a walking boot earlier in the week after injuring an ankle.

A true freshman, Diggs has been one of the Terrapins top offensive players. He has 721 yards receiving and six touchdowns and also has a kickoff return for a touchdown. Diggs caught both touchdowns from new QB Shawn Petty on Saturday.

The injury continues a run of bad luck for Maryland. The Terrapins have lost four quarterbacks for the season and their leading tackler Demetrius Hartsfield for the rest of the season last Saturday.

Freshman RB Wes Brown, who left Saturday's game in the first half, will also miss the Clemson game with an ankle injury.
