VIDEO: Trent Richardson to take leukemia patient to her senior prom
Hey, leukemia: you suck. Everyone hates you. And if you haven't noticed, college football in the state of Alabama is kicking your rear end right now.
Shon Coleman shoved it in your face when he got back on the practice field for Auburn Wednesday. And you know that Hueytown (Ala.) High School senior, Courtney Alvis, who you've tried to keep from her senior prom? Not only is she going, but per this report from Montgomery TV station WSFA, her date's going to be none other than former Alabama running back and Heisman finalist Trent Richardson:
Alvis's uncle, a devoted Alabama fan, reportedly got word to Richardson about her situation, and he said yes to the idea of accompanying her.
So nice try and all, leukemia, but you lose. Again.
