Oklahoma receiver Kameel Jackson to transfer

Oklahoma wide receiver Kameel Jackson took to his Twitter account on Sunday night to announce that he was transferring from Oklahoma at the end of the school year and would continue his collegiate career at Texas A&M .

Though there could be one small problem with Jackson's plan.

According to SoonerScoop.com, while Jackson does indeed plan to transfer, his assertion that he'll be playing at Texas A&M may be a bit premature. The site says that Texas A&M hasn't even been contacted by Jackson about a transfer, and that the Aggies might not have a spot for him.
But last night a source tells us Jackson hasn't asked for permission from Texas A&M to transfer to College Station.

That source tells us A&M, and even head coach Kevin Sumlin, was unaware Jackson was interested in transferring to A&M as of last night.

That same source also said A&M would not be interested in bringing in Jackson as a transfer because of their current situation at the wide receiver position.
Jackson was a four-star member of Oklahoma's 2011 class, and caught 12 passes for 165 yards in the 2011 season. He would become the second member of Oklahoma's 2011 class to transfer, joining running back Brandon Williams, who transferred to Texas A&M.

Now whether or not Jackson will be joining Williams at Texas A&M, apparently, that remains to be seen.
