PHOTOS: Texas A&M, Missouri banners raised at SEC headquarters
"A little history about to happen at 2201 Richard Arrington Blvd," SEC spokesman Chuck Dunlap tweeted this afternoon, along with this picture:

So what's at 2201 Richard Arrington Boulevard, and what are those banners? The answer to the first question is "the SEC's headquarters in Birmingham (Ala.)," and the second was answered in Dunlap's next tweet:

As you can see: they're joining the rest of the giant pennants hanging from the ceiling in the lobby of SEC HQ. Maybe it's not as seismic a moment as being added to the classic SEC "pinwheel" logo, but it's got to be a close second. And because it's not fair to show you Mizzou's banner being hung and not Texas A&M's:

We've been skeptical until now despite all the announcements and scheduling and everything, but we have to admit that it looks like the Tigers and Aggies really will be joining the league this fall. We think.
