Oklahoma State DT Christian Littlehead charged with assault and battery

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Oklahoma State defensive tackle Christian Littlehead after he was charged with misdemeanor assault and battery Thursday.

A woman alleges that the 6-foot-2, 312-pound Littlehead punched her in the face at a party in March, knocking her down and causing her to scrape her knees and cut her hand.

According to the woman, Littlehead hit her after she accused him of cheating during a game of beer pong. Other partygoers had to step in to separate them before Littlehead left the party.

Littlehead played in 12 games for the Cowboys last season, starting four of them. He finished the season with 16 tackles, 2 for a loss and a sack.

Littlehead was suspended for Oklahoma State's appearance in the Fiesta Bowl after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
