PODCAST: 2012 ACC Preview with ACCSports.com's Jim Young

We kick off our 2012 Conference Preview Podcast series with the ACC. ACCSports.com's Jim Young joins me on the podcast to break in our new "People, Places, Things" Preview. Jim and I each provide some of the people, places - such as the Georgia Dome, and things - such as Twitter - that will define the 2012 season in the ACC.
It may sound confusing on the surface, but if you take a look at the topics below and give it a listen I think you will catch on pretty quickly. Jim's got his finger on the pulse of the ACC; from in-depth recruiting storylines to ESPN's role in conference realignment. In addition to being a friend of the Eye On College Football blog, Jim hosts his own ACC Podcast with Hayes Permar which I suggest you check out as well.
Below are just some of the topics covered in the podcast:
A discussion of Twitter. How it can help fans get to know players, and how coaches deal with it. (1:30)
The different ways that Virginia (the state) will have an impact on the 2012 season. Players, games, teams all included. (4:12)
The importance of Clemson and NC State showing up in the Georgia Dome for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff on opening weekend. (5:40)
I get a little nerdy, discussing the importance of quarterback pressure for success in the ACC in 2012. (8:04)
Jim takes the flip side identifying some offensive line coaches that carry a big responsibility for ACC title contenders. (9:10)
Georgia Tech will run the ball, but how will Al Groh's defense perform in another year of the 3-4? (11:52)
Mike Glennon is a top pro prospect and dark horse Heisman contender according to Bruce Feldman, I point to Tobais Palmer as a key player for his success. (13:55)
There's an opportunity to recruit the state of Pennsylvania with Penn State's NCAA sanctions. Who will take advantage and benefit? (17:45)
Is Conference Realignment done? What factors could play in the rumors firing up again in the 2012 season. (23:37)
