Ohio State RB Jordan Hall is 'doubtful' for Saturday's Nebraska game
Ohio State running backs just can't stay healthy this season.
On Monday, coach Urban Meyer told reporters that Jordan Hall suffered a partial tear of his PCL in his right knee during Ohio State's win last week against
"You just hate to see that because it's a kid who has worked his tail off, one of the hardest-working guys we had in the offseason," Meyer said. "We'll just evaluate that. I'd say doubtful, unless something happens."
Hall has rushed for more yards than any other Buckeyes running back this season with 218 yards on 40 carries. He missed the first two games of the season after injuring his foot over the summer and was replaced by Carlos Hyde. Hyde hurt his knee in Ohio State's second game and then missed two weeks before returning against Michigan State.
He'll likely start in Hall's place.
Of course, no matter who starts at running back, one thing will not change. Braxton Miller is still the star of the Ohio State offense, as he leads the team with 577 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. While it's nice to have both Hyde and Hall available to help carry the burden, Ohio State is still dangerous on offense as long as Miller is healthy.
