VIDEO: Wyoming's Dave Christensen goes berserk at Air Force's Troy Calhoun (NSFW)

Here's how Air Force coach Troy Calhoun characterized his postgame exchange with Wyoming coach Dave Christensen after Saturday's 28-27 Falcons win, an exchange for which Christensen later apogized and faced a public reprimand from the Mountain West:

Probably not a conversation that I'd have with my mom. Not that kind of dialogue.

Save for those fine women employed as sailors or characters in Quentin Tarantino films, it turns out it's not the kind of conversation you'd have with anyone's mom. Here's a video of Christensen's tirade, which we warn includes a heavy, heavy dose of not-safe-for-work language and ends with Christensen being all but dragged towards the Cowboys locker room:

For those of you stuck at work, these are among the many charming phrases uttered by Christensen in Calhoun's (or other Falcons') direction:

  • "F--- you!"
  • "Faking a f------ injury, nice ethics, man ... That's great f------ ethics!"
  • "Yeah, right, look at me, Mr. F------- Howdy Doody!"
  • "Get in your f------ locker room. That's f------ bullshit ... No f------ integrity ..."
  • "Get in your f------ press conference, fly boy!"

What set Christensen off, he explained after the game, was his view that Air Force had faked an injury with quarterback Connor Dietz before a critical play inside the Cowboys 10 -- a play that became the game-winning touchdown. From the AP recap of the game:
Christensen later questioned whether Dietz was injured, noting the quarterback walked about 20 yards before taking a knee near the Falcons sideline. He said the several minutes that trainers attended to Dietz gave Air Force time to strategize the next play.

"There was nothing wrong with that player except that his helmet came off," Christensen said. "And I have a real problem with that."

About eight minutes remained in the game, and the Falcons had all three timeouts remaining.

Before Pearson entered, the referee announced that Dietz, by rule, had to leave the game because his helmet came off.

"In this game we're supposed to be ethical and that's not ethical," Christensen said. "I don't know what they teach at Air Force, but I'm not going to teach that to my kids. I want my guys to get off the field when they're hurt, and we don't want to stop the game."

Christensen is free to teach his kids whatever he wants, but on the basis of the above video, let's hope it's not lessons in postgame decorum.
