The strangest story to emerge from National Signing Day was the saga involving top running back Alex Collins and his attempt to commit to Arkansas. After he filled out his letter of intent and had an announcement ceremony planned at his high school, Collins' mother allegedly confiscated the letter and left the school with it. Which ultimately led to Collins having to wait a day to sign with Arkansas thanks to his father's signature.
