UWIRE
Francis Longobardo, FSView & Florida Flambeau: It is something that you don't typically see in a bowl game -- a special teams player being named the Most Valuable Player. Then again, Florida State senior Graham Gano is not any average special teams player. Full story | UWIRE Bowl Coverage

Team Reports
  • Wisconsin: Blessed with 15 returning starters, a No. 12 ranking in the preseason coaches poll and a ton of incentive after an unexpectedly poor 9-4 record in 2007, the Badgers felt they should make a legitimate run at the Big Ten title and a trip to Pasadena. More

  • Florida State: Florida State's first-ever matchup against Wisconsin will require both teams to spend Christmas in a team hotel. But the Seminoles are happy to be playing in Orlando, enhancing recruiting efforts and hoping their fans will be tempted to make an easy drive for a bowl game. More

Badgers were lucky to get a bowl game in my opinion. Although some lucky breaks and some bad calls made this game a blow out. I doubt FSU would do as well against Penn State or Ohio State. Northwestern would probably beat them too. Post your thoughts!
