Congratulations, Texas. You won. You beat a tortoise-slow Ohio State team with its overrated coach who can no longer win a big postseason game. Nice work. Now comes the tough love. The Longhorns were victorious and losers at the same time. Yes, both these things are true. They won the game and lost a chance to tell college football that they belong with the big boys this season. They choked away a long shot at history. Full story
Game Recap
Colt McCoy hit Quan Cosby for a 26-yard touchdown with 16 seconds to play, lifting third-ranked Texas to a 24-21 Fiesta Bowl victory over No. 10 Ohio State. The Buckeyes nearly pulled off the upset behind quarterbacks Terrelle Pryor and Todd Boeckman but instead went down to another disappointing bowl loss. McCoy, the Heisman Trophy runner-up, calmly led the Longhorns 78 yards in 11 plays and 1:42 without calling a timeout. On the touchdown, Cosby caught a short pass, slipped a tackle and sprinted toward the goal line before diving into the end zone. Full story | Ohio State's Lane carted off field

Team Reports
Ohio State: It didn't take long for the desert to turn from Ohio State's paradise to a prison. The Buckeyes did four hours of hard time two years ago, during a 41-14 loss to Florida in the national championship game at University of Phoenix Stadium. Now they return for the first time since the collapse, when they entered the game as heavy favorites and left as heavy enemies -- of the rest of the nation. More
Texas: As if it weren't enough for Oklahoma to skip past Texas and play for both the Big 12 and national championships, college football's top individual honor pitted the quarterbacks of the two rivals. And Oklahoma sophomore Sam Bradford nipped Texas junior Colt McCoy for the Heisman Trophy. More -- Copyright (C) 2008 The Sports Xchange. All Rights Reserved.

This was a great game and i think the buckeyes may have found that Terrelle Pryor could be better at catching the ball than throwing it. Much better. Boeckman did a great job in this game. This game highlighted two evenly matched teams with very poor and questionable officiating throughout. Post your thoughts!
"This team started this way and finished this way, and they're obviously one of the best teams in the country if not the best."
