Game Recap
Bo Pelini's first season as Nebraska coach ended with a victory and optimism about the future, two things that have been in short supply in with the Cornhuskers in recent years. Joe Ganz threw for two touchdowns, Alex Henery kicked four field goals and Nebraska beat Clemson 26-21 in the Gator Bowl. Full story

Joe Ganz, QB, Nebraska The senior threw for 236 yards and two third-quarter touchdowns. Ganz threw a 17-yarder to Nate Swift and a 19-yarder to Todd Peterson.
Team Reports
Clemson: It's not the bowl that Clemson envisioned and hoped for when the season began, yet the Tigers have to be happy with their trip to Jacksonville for the Gator Bowl. When you are sitting one loss away from postseason elimination, as the Tigers (7-5, 4-4 ACC) were for the final three weeks of the regular season, you tend to have a greater appreciation for making it to any bowl. More
Nebraska: Nebraska has grown used to facing Big 12 offenses that like to spread the field and take advantage of various matchups. Facing an Atlantic Coast Conference team in the Gator Bowl will be a little change of pace for the Huskers defense. Nebraska (8-4) will play Clemson (7-5) in the Jan. 1 game. The much maligned Big XII North has quietly won all three of their bowl games. I can't tell you how glad I am to see Nebraska winning a NY's day game again. Pelini will have them back to the Big XII Championship game soon. Post your thoughts!
"I'm proud of this group. It's been a tough 12 months, but there's been a lot of hard work by a lot of people and it's paid off. Now, we've got to keep it going."
