Team Reports
Oklahoma State: The Cowboys will be appearing in its third straight bowl under the direction of Mike Gundy, who's into his fourth year as head coach. The Cowboys have missed just one bowl game since 2002 -- Les Miles led the team to three consecutive bowls before leaving for LSU just a couple of days after losing to Ohio State in the 2004 Alamo Bowl. Oregon: The Ducks have been busy since closing the regular season with the win that knocked Oregon State out of the Rose Bowl. With offensive coordinator Chip Kelly about to interview at Syracuse, Oregon kept him. He will take over for Bellotti when Bellotti takes over for Pat Kilkenny as athletic director. There is no timetable but it sounds like a couple of years before Kelly will be the head man. Until then, he'll earn a reported $7 million over the five years in his new contract. Congrats to the Ducks for an extremely good team yet again and watch out for them next year. They say that the Pac-10 is soft, and I pretty much agree with that but other than USC, I don't think we can include Oregon in that category now either. Post your thoughts!
