TCU's Joseph Turner dove into the end zone for the winning touchdown, and LaDainian Tomlinson went nuts on the sideline. It was a good night to be a Horned Frog, current and past. Turner's 17-yard run midway through the fourth quarter gave the No. 11 Horned Frogs their first lead of the night, which they preserved for a 17-16 victory over No. 9 and previously undefeated Boise State in the Poinsettia Bowl. Team Reports

TCU: Without a BCS bowl game to go to, TCU's getting the next best option: face undefeated Boise State in the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl on December 23 at Qualcomm Stadium. TCU was clearly the better team in this game. Their lines dominated play on both sides of the ball, and that was with the Boise St. holding on every down. That DE from TCU is the real deal, and I am thoroughly convinced that TCU was a much better team than the score in this game showed. Boise's skilled positions played well, but when you get whipped in the trenches the way they did, there is not much you can say about how your team was overlooked. Post your thoughts!
"They had better athletes than we've ever seen. They played with so much heart. You didn't look over there one time and say, 'We broke them.' They knew they were going to come back and they believed in themselves the whole time."
