The ballots are in from Monday's ACC Football Kickoff, and the media selections for the 2012 Preseason All-ACC team were announced on Wednesday. The preseason favorite Florida State had four players named to the team, the most of any school along with Clemson and North Carolina - also with four selections each.
Clemson sophomore wide receiver Sammy Watkins was the only unanimous selection among the media members polled. Earlier in the week Watkins was also named the league's preseason Player of the Year.

I had a vote in the balloting, and the final team looks very similar to my selections from Monday. Bruce Taylor is certainly an All-ACC talent, but I left him off my ballot due to lingering injury concerts from his foot surgery in November. If Taylor is full strength for a full season, he will likely end up on this list at the end of the year.
