PHOTOS: Mississippi State unveils 'Snow Bowl,' 'Egg Bowl' alternate uniforms

Mississippi State announced in April it would be wearing all-white uniforms during its Nov. 3 home date against Texas A&M, commemorating the Bulldogs' famous 2000 "Snow Bowl" victory over the Aggies in the Independence Bowl.

But why stop at one all-white alternate uniform when you can have two? On Wednesday, the Bulldogs unveiled not only their Adidas-designed look for the "Snow Bowl" commemoration but a second alternate design to be worn during this year's Egg Bowl vs. archrival Ole Miss. From the school's announcement:

The Bulldogs' "Snow Bowl" adidas TECHFIT uniform -- inspired by the famous 2000 game versus the Aggies in the Independence Bowl -- is all white, with silver trim and metallic silver numbers. The helmet is matte white with a large silver metallic bulldog graphic and silver face mask.

The "Battle for the Golden Egg" look is a white uniform with gold metallic numbers outlined in maroon, maroon helmet with gold trim and a base layer featuring a Mississippi State logo on the sleeve, similar to the concept originated in 2011 as the Bulldogs defeated their in-state foes 31-3.

One fun fact not included in that description: Per State athletic director Scott Stricklin (as reported by the Clarion-Ledger) the helmets in the "Snow Bowl" design were inspired by a fan's online mockup.

Here are some photos of the new uniforms, direct from MSU's official site:
