Louisville and Southern Miss have gone to halftime with Southern Miss, and you might think the story of the game is a team that got demolished by Western Kentucky last week, leading the nation's No. 19 team 17-12.

But it hasn't been, thanks to an out-and-out opening of the skies over Hattiesburg that has turned the playing field into something more appropriate for ducks or arks than a football game. Here's what it looked like on the CBS Sports Network:

Little wonder Southern Miss failed to complete a pass for the duration of the first half. But they're still ahead--and if you're Charlie Strong, you can't feel good about trying to come back on the road in these conditions.
