PHOTO: Louisville and Southern Miss play in a deluge

By Jerry Hinnen | College Football Writer

Louisville and Southern Miss have gone to halftime with Southern Miss, and you might think the story of the game is a team that got demolished by Western Kentucky last week, leading the nation's No. 19 team 17-12.

And from AP reporter David Brandt, here's what it looks like inside the stadium:

Little wonder Southern Miss failed to complete a pass for the duration of the first half. But they're still ahead--and if you're Charlie Strong, you can't feel good about trying to come back on the road in these conditions.
