Here's a quick compilation of what some of the top candidates for the Heisman did in week five. This is not a ranking of where the race currently stands, just a stats update on a Saturday night. It only includes players listed in last week's Heisman Watch.

Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia -- 19 of 25, 278 yards, 2 TDs, 1 interception in a 51-44 win over Tennessee.

De'Anthony Thomas, RB, Oregon -- 6 carries for 26 yards, 1 TD, 6 receptions for 28 yards, 72 return yards in 51-26 win over Washington State.

Braxton Miller, QB, Ohio State -- 16 of 23 for 179 yards, 1 TD, 1 interception, 23 carries, 136 yards rushing in 17-16 win over No. 20 Michigan State.

Stepfan Taylor, RB, Stanford -- 21 carries for 75 yards in 17-13 loss to Washington.

Johnathan Franklin, RB, UCLA -- 15 carries for 111 yards, 3 catches for 48 yards in a 42-14 win over Colorado.

Le'Veon Bell, RB, Michigan State -- 17 carries for 45 yards, 8 catches for 58 yards in a 17-16 loss to Ohio State.

David Ash, QB, Texas -- 30 of 37 for 304 yards, 3 TDs, 1 interception in a 41-36 win over Oklahoma State.
