For the first time since 2008, Northwestern is ranked in both the AP and coaches Top 25 polls. Only the Wildcats and Ohio State are undefeated in the Big Ten, and Pat Fitzgerald's squad is the only undefeated team with four wins over FBS opponents. Impressive offensive performances from Kain Colter, Trevor Siemian, and Venric Mark have highlighted the Northwestern's fast start, and the unit was on display Saturday setting a school-record with 704 yards of total offense in a 44-29 win over Indiana.

After LSU gave up 22 points to FCS foe Towson, the Associated Press voters moved Florida State above LSU for the No. 3 spot in the poll. The coaches left the top five in place (Alabama, Oregon, LSU , Florida State, Georgia), moving South Carolina up as a result of Stanford's loss to Washington on Thursday night.

The Cardinal's loss on the road dropped them from the top 10 to No. 18 in both polls. The Huskies just make the cut after pulling the fourth-quarter stunner, appearing at No. 23 in the AP poll but just missing the cut by one spot in the coaches poll. After a narrow victory against New Mexico, Boise State lost their spot in the AP poll -- presumably to Washington. The Broncos are holding on at No. 25 in the coaches poll.

Biggest AP poll jump: No. 14 Oregon State (previously 18)
Biggest coaches poll jump: No. 24 Texas Tech (previously unranked/36)
Biggest AP poll slide: No. 18 Stanford (previously 8)
Biggest coaches poll slide: No. 18 Stanford (previously 9)
