Monday Pickups: Setting the TV slate for Nov. 24 (and Nov. 17)

Each Monday, conferences, TV networks and schools announce when and on what network they'll be kicking off a week from this coming Saturday -- in this case, Nov. 24. Here's the rundown of Monday's television announcements, conference by conference. All times Eastern.

SEC on CBS, Saturday, Nov. 24

Alabama may no longer control its national-championship destiny, but it can still clinch another SEC West title and berth in the SEC Championship Game with a win in the Iron Bowl. For the Auburn Tigers, a victory might save Gene Chizik's job and would salvage a horrific season -- but will motivation be enough to keep things close?

The game will air live online here at's SEC Live player, with the online broadcast featuring both pregame and postgame coverage, the latter including Gary Danielson live from the broadcast booth after the game.

As previously announced, CBS will also broadcast LSU at Arkansas at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23. Here's a look at the other confirmed kickoffs for the Nov. 24 slate:

The Big Ten also announced that this Saturday, Nov. 17, the noon kickoff game between Iowa and Michigan will air on ESPN. Northwestern at Michigan State, which also kicks off at noon, will air on ESPN2.

The ACC (and ESPN) has once again gone with a six-day option for its conference games, meaning the only games with established kickoff times or broadcast decisions are the ones -- Florida at Florida State, Georgia Tech at Georgia, South Carolina at Clemson -- featured in the SEC announcement above.

But Sunday the league did finalize its six-day-optioned games for this Saturday, Nov. 17. Here they are:
