Fan treated for 'life-threatening injuries' after fall at ACC Championship Game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A fan fell from the stadium concourse at the ACC Championship Game between Florida State and Georgia Tech , and has been transported to the Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.

"The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating what is being referred to as a public accident," Major Eddie Levins said in an official statement. "A 22-year old male fell from what is thought to be the 4th level of the stadium. No further details are available. The injured man has been transported to Carolinas Medical Center."
