The next time Navy has a home game against Notre Dame, it won't have to fly over an ocean to play it.

It was announced on Thursday that Navy and Notre Dame will met at FedEx Field in Landover, Md., in 2014. Which is a lot closer to Annapolis than Dublin, Ireland, where Notre Dame and Navy opened the 2012 season.

Of course, it's nothing new for Navy to play its "home" games against Notre Dame in an NFL stadium. Before playing in Ireland this season, the teams played at MetLife Stadium in 2010, and at M&T Bank Stadium in 2006 and 2008. Navy hasn't actually hosted a home game against Notre Dame since the 2004 meeting.

This won't be the first meeting between these teams at FedEx Field, either. The 1998 game took place in the stadium.
