PHOTO: Arkansas State fan wants his arm back from Gus Malzahn

Hey, college football fan, remember this?

That's from the 2012 GoDaddy.com Bowl, the last game under the Hugh Freeze regime before Arkansas native Gus Malzahn returned to the Natural State to take over the Arkansas State Red Wolves program. The fan pictured, Matt Hubbard, earned a smattering of national media attention -- thanks in no small part to the attention Malzahn was garnering for taking a pay cut to leave Auburn and take over in Jonesboro.

Fast-forward a year, and Malzahn has left Jonesboro after a single championship season to return to Auburn as the Tigers' head coach. That hasn't gone over well with Red Wolves fans expecting those Arkansas ties to keep Malzahn around for longer than 12 games ... and it apparently hasn't gone over well with Hubbard, either. Via reporter Chris Bahn and Twitter user Brent Cook, Hubbard's new sign at this year's GoDaddy.com Bowl:

At least Hubbard and the rest of the Red Wolves supporters can take solace in the fact that they won their interim-coached bowl this time around, defeating Kent State 17-13.
