Florida linebacker Jelani Jenkins has opted to skip his final season of college eligibility and declare for the NFL Draft, according to a report from ESPN.com.

The 6-foot-3, 237-pounder missed four games this past season because of a broken finger and broken foot. He was expected by Gators coaches to return for one more year after he had just 29 tackles to go with two sacks and an interception.

Instead, Jenkins will join an exodus of talent from the Florida program that includes safety Matt Elam, defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd and tight end Jordan Reed.

Jenkins is rated the 10th-best outside linebacker in the draft by CBSSports.com.
