Louisville will sell $1 beers at spring game

Unlike you, Teddy Bridgewater won't have access to $1 beers during Louisville's spring game. (USATSI)

If you're like me, you find watching a spring game to be pretty boring. More and more of them have been televised in recent seasons, and since they're being televised in early April and football fans are starved for any kind of football action, people tune in.

I've tuned in, and I've been bored out of my mind doing so. What you end up watching is nothing but a scrimmage, and while it may be football, it's not football.

But it appears Louisville has figured out a way to make the spring game less boring for any fans who decide to attend its spring game April 13.

Louisville is going to sell $1 beers to fans in attendance.

And if there's anything beer can do for people besides give them a false sense of invincibility, it's make boring things entertaining. Plus, let's be real, the beers are only a dollar each.

When was the last time you've been to a sporting event where you only had to pay $1 for a beer? That's a deal you just can't pass up, and much like the spring game is practice for the players, drinking 15 $1 beers during the spring game is like spring practice for your liver as you prepare for the real season to get here.

You have to keep that thing in shape.
